This scenic track follows the Patea River through the small central town of Stratford. With a series of pedestrian bridges and picnic area this is a pleasant walk for all ages. The trail features the McCullough Rhododendron Dell, Thompson Arboretum and the Elephant Playground which is a favourite among children. One of the many hidden gems in Central Taranaki, the Carrington Walkway is a must do while in Stratford.
